Using Module Wrapper building complex layout

Module Wrapper can help you to build nested complex layout without using complex skins. For example, we can build a nested table link below picture.

wrapper

First, please add an instance in a page. Then select “Edit” for Module Menu. Enter the number of rows and columns and click “set” button.

Note: The max number of rows or cols is 20. The number of total cells should be less than 40.

Now a dynamic table is generated. You can select a module that will be injected from the dropdown list.

Note: The default tab is from the current page the module wrapper is installed on. If you want to inject a module in another tab, you should select tab first. Then the modules of the selected tab will be available in the Select Module dropdown list. That will cause a short delay. Normally it’s only a few seconds but if you set more cells or your network is slow, it will takes a little longer.

You can set the width and height of the cell that contains the injected module. You can also set height of rows in the first columns. The width can be a number or percent, for example, “100” or “50%”.

You can also set the rows span and columns span. If you want to delete a cell, ensure the “Delete this cell” checked.

After you set rows span and columns span or delete some cells, you can click “Update&Not Save” to see the effect.

Set columns span to 2 and delete right top cell:
